CHRIS SORENSEN

Chris is a graduate of the Rutgers Professional Actor Training Program where he studied under William Esper and Maggie Flanagan. He is an original company member of The Present Company, producers of the NY Fringe. He has taught/directed at Cornell University, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Atlantic Theatre Company School and Interlochen.

After a fateful run-in with a commuter bus (the bus won), he stepped down from the stage and began writing plays commissioned by the Butte Theater and the Thin Air Theatre Company. Productions of his plays have broken all box office records and have ensured future funding by the City of Cripple Creek.

After paying his dues as a script reader for Big Beach Films, Filbert Steps and ScriptLaunch, Chris ventured forth with stories of his own:
